The space

A perfect rustic retreat in a remote forest area. 80 acres of raw nature. Extremely protected area.

Artesian spring water and pure air. Ecological home, natural building, no pollutants. No cell reception in most of the property, but WiFi is available to make voice-over wifi calling. Surrounded by rare and beautiful vegetation and wildlife. Child-friendly, but no pets. To maintain a high environmental standard, please remove shoes indoors. Tours of our farm are available by appointment.

Guest access

We have 80 acres of lush forest to explore. There are beautiful natural buildings to visit, including a cobb sauna, a redwood-grove treehouse, and a meditation gazebo- all open for guests to enjoy. We run the sauna seasonally during Spring and Fall. but you are welcome to explore it regardless, as it is a piece of art. We are a registered organic farm, based on permaculture and biodynamic principles with over 100 different varieties of fruits, nuts, tropicals, medicinal plants, berries, and whatever vegetables we are growing. We keep the farm side separate but if you are interested we can let you know when we have workshops or farm tours available.

Please do not harvest, except when you come to a harvest retreat or experience.

Our farm is a sustainable living center. Our lifestyle and living structures promote sustainability in every area: self-composting toilets, outdoor showers, eating off the land, drinking artesian spring water. Our area is remote and rustic and calls for a back-to-nature mindset, although inside of the Bear Hut you have every comfort.
