Sister's Earthen Yurt

The space

Staying in the Sister’s Yurt is a true retreat in nature.  Architecturally designed using patterns found in nature. 314 square feet, with a cozy wood-burning stove, a sturdy desk, and very simple indoor kitchen amenities with a dorm-size fridge, an induction cooktop, and very basic cooking utensils. A simple outdoor eating area, a wonderful hot shower, a sink,

and a self-composting toilet is all outdoors.

The  Sister’s Yurt is located in the Village area of our magnificent forest. The Village is the place in our forest where you could find people if you prefer to know you have access to people during your retreat. It is very private, so you can choose to have a quiet, alone retreat, but you know that there are others should you choose to find them. It is also the closest to the farm, so you see the trace of the human hand, even if you never find us tending the land.

The Sister’s Yurt may be rented independently or as part of the gorgeous Forest Hideaway, the Cabaña in the Forest, or the Great Yurt for additional guests or special occasions.

The Village affords maximum flexibility, options for group events, and outdoorsy families.
