Tent

The space
We are very happy to welcome you to this beautiful tent in the striking landscape of Mendocino County. The Forest Tent is a true retreat in nature. You will be staying in old-growth oak, madrone, douglas fir, redwoods, and manzanita forests surrounded by beautifully rare vegetation and wildlife. Staying in this property is deeply restorative. Part of our natural charm and protection is that there is no cell reception in our beautiful forest, but you have good free WiFi in your private room for work, recreation, video conferences, and voice-over wifi calling. The Forest Tent is totally off the grid and functional during outages: independent solar electricity, a very warm wood-burning stove, and our wonderful well and spring water.
Guest access
The Forest Tent has a convenient free parking space reserved at the crossroads. From there you will hand-carry your things on a short walk. Be mindful when packing so you don’t need to carry too much weight. Also, wear comfortable hiking shoes.
The Tent is located in the Deep Forest area of our beautiful property. As you hike down from parking, walk down the steps by the solar area, at the bottom of the steps the trail splits in 4 directions; continue straight into the forest, cross the small bridge, and continue straight to the Tent. You will find it on the left about 100 yards in.
Places to explore on our property
