Rhodesian Ridgebacks
The handsome, muscular Rhodesian Ridgeback gets their name from the ridge of hair that grows in the opposite direction down his back. Originally bred as versatile hunters and guardians, Rhodesian Ridgebacks are athletic, strong and fearless enough to keep large animals, like lions, at bay. But with their people, they're affectionate and loyal. The breed can be reserved with strangers and strong-willed and highly intelligent. As devoted lovers and admirers of our Ridgebacks we have learnt to use their intuition and wisdom in our favor for their training. and socialization for your Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy. You’ll be rewarded with a spectacular, loving, family member

Golden Cup Ridgebacks
Our dogs are strong and gentle, healthy and beautiful, intelligent, obedient, and cooperative. They are raised in our homestead in the country with great attention, care, and love. I make sure my dogs have optimal nutrition from birth on, as I believe that food shapes health, longevity, adaptability, and disposition. I am a neurological movement therapist, and I give my dogs neurological training from birth to ensure they reach their full potential. We live on 160 acres in the country, and they run and play all day on 10 of those acres in our Homestead around the rest of our animals, orchards, and gardens.
The puppies are raised in our home and are socialized by Reina, their mom, Trueno, their father, our family, and the wide variety of people who live, work, and visit our Homestead community. The Sire and Dam are both AKC registered and lineage of world champions. We ran genetic testing and spent two years searching for the appropriate breeder to buy the right mate for our Sire to ensure both Sire and Dam provide the optimal genetic combination for our future litter, healthy puppies, and to keep the breed strong.
I spend a lot of time with my clients to answer questions and get to know the puppies' new environment so I can start training and making any adjustments for a smooth transition to your home. The puppies are evaluated and certified healthy by Dr. Hoskins before you take them home, vaccinated, and dewormed.
My deepest appreciation to our breeder and mentor, for keeping the standard of the breed with the utmost care, and Patrice Gail, breeder, trainer, developer, and evaluator of dogs of all breeds since 1968, our beloved mentor, teacher, and friend.
